One stroke maximum. After one stroke drop ball outside of trap no closer to the green.
For tryouts,  all lost balls take penalty stroke and drop at site of loss or entry to cornfields, tree lines on 8 & 9,  tree line of driving range on 1 & 2.    All teams play the back tees at Robin's Nest.                           Max 8 per hole.

Schools will take the top 8 kids from tryouts on the first team.  Reports the average scores for the top 5 kids from that team. Then take the top 5 scores from the second team, which would be the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th players. The next team would start at player 17, then keep repeating until you deem players instructional.

Tryout dates Tryouts should be held between May 11th and June 14th.  Scores need to be reported by June 14th.  Email team scores to Commissioners so they know which level their team is placed.

Rainouts , Rain Delays & Scoring

The minimum number of holes needed to be completed to in order for a match to count in the case of interrupted play due to weather conditions is 5. Five holes need to be completed by all groups.
To score a rain shortened match, determine the team score by using only the scores for holes that were completed by ALL players. (For example if the last group only completed 6 holes, you only use the scores through 6 holes for all players, dropping the 2 highest scores players scores. In other words it becomes a 6 hole match and any scores from holes 7-9 are eliminated.)

When 5 holes have not been completed due to interrupted weather conditions the result will fall under one of the 2 options listed.

Option 1: Wait out the weather conditions and resume play. In this case players are to mark their ball so as to be able to identify their location when continuing play. If the marked position is not present upon continued play the group shall agree to last ball position. The time allowed to wait out weather conditions will be 1 hour.

Option 2: If 5 holes have not been played and play does not resume on that day, the match shall be considered a rainout, and should be rescheduled.

Forfeit Policy When a team cannot make a scheduled match they must give 24-hour notice to the opposing team or they will incur a loss.
Scorecard Policy Each team will write down their team players' names on the scorecard, then they will exchange with the other team. At the end of the match, they will confirm that scores are correct and then sign their card before turning in to the person collecting scorecards. There will be 2 cards for each match.
